I have been studying music since middle school. Throughout middle school and high school I was a member, then student director, of the Western Plains Children's Choir based in Minot, ND. I participated in the ND All State Choir each year in High School and participated in the High School Honor Series Choir which performed in Carnegie Hall. I took private voice lessons in high school and college. I began playing the cello at 14 years old and by 16 I was playing in the Minot Symphony Orchestra. I continued playing the cello in college. I earned a music minor from BYU Idaho, focusing in voice.
